LOS ANGELES -- Anze Kopitar and Matt Frattin each had a goal and an assist, and Ben Scrivens extended his unlikely winning streak with 19 saves in the Los Angeles Kings 5-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night. Scrivens, who made his first eight appearances for Los Angeles on the road, fell just short of Quicks franchise-record shutout streak of 202 minutes, 11 seconds. The Kings went ahead when Kopitar skated onto a back pass from Doughty and put a shot through traffic past Bishop for his sixth goal of the season. After a quiet finish to last season and a slow start this fall, the Slovenian star has 16 points in his past 14 games. Los Angeles scored again on a power play late in the first period when Frattin artfully deflected Slava Voynovs long shot from the wall. The goal was just the second in 20 games for Frattin, acquired along with Scrivens in the trade sending Jonathan Bernier to the Maple Leafs. King put Los Angeles up 4-0 with a short-handed goal late in the second period, forcing a turnover and deflecting Linden Veys shot for his career-best seventh goal. Filppula scored his team-leading ninth goal during the same four-minute power play. Moments later, Brown broke in alone for just his second goal in 18 games after a steal by Frattin.
