LAKE FOREST Pat O'Donnell Jersey , Ill. (AP)The Chicago Bears are piling up losses and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky understands what that means. All eyes are on him. ”Everyone’s looking toward you,” Trubisky said. ”They’re all seeing how you react and I love that because I feel like I know how to handle these situations and I still have all the confidence in the world in my guys that we can turn this around next week and we can really go on a run.” The freefalling Bears (3-8) bring a four-game losing streak into Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. And Chicago’s rookie quarterback looks to bounce back from his worst outing against the team that could have drafted him with the No. 2 overall pick. The Bears instead made a bold move by trading up a spot with the 49ers to grab him. And the results so far have been mixed. In the seven starts since he took over for the struggling Mike Glennon, Trubisky has shown at times a strong arm and the ability to extend plays with his quickness. But against Philadelphia last week, it was simply rough going. Facing the team with the NFL’s best record, Trubisky looked like an overmatched rookie. He was 17 of 33 for 147 yards with two interceptions, two sacks and two fumbles. Poor footwork led to Trubisky overthrowing several receivers and posting a career-low 38.3 passer rating. Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains wouldn’t pin it all on his quarterback, saying the receivers weren’t always where they needed to be. Adding to the Bears’ woes was the fact that they managed just 6 yards rushing – the second-lowest total in franchise history. Trubisky also found himself under pressure behind a shaky line even though the Eagles didn’t blitz much. But he reverted to some of his college habits when it came to his footwork. ”He got caught bouncing a little bit,” Loggains said. ”You know it was a tendency he had in college and we talked to him a lot about keeping his shoulders and head still. And he did get hoppy a little bit, and there were some throws that were errant because of that and something we’re going to keep working and grinding on that way.” Trubisky has been spending extra time working on his footwork and reviewing video. He seems level-headed and is maintaining a positive approach even though things aren’t going well at the moment for him or the team. He ranks last among regular quarterbacks with a 52.8percent completion rate and has been sacked 19 times. The Bears, meanwhile https://www.thebearsfanshop.com/Kyle-Long-Jersey , have wiped out the good will they were starting to build. Back-to-back wins followed by a tight loss at New Orleans left them feeling pretty good heading into their bye. But the three games since then have been discouraging. ”(Teammates) know that I’m buying in even more, I’m working even harder and they know that I care about this team and my teammates and that we’re going to get this thing right and hopefully that kind of behavior is contagious,” Trubisky said. ”And I believe it is and just being around the locker room, being around those guys, talking to them one-on-one and just seeing how they feel. We’re still positive. We still have good confidence. And that just needs to carry over each day. Have good practices and go out there and try to get a win on Sunday.” NOTES: ILB Danny Trevathan (strained calf) returned to practice Wednesday on a limited basis. He was injured Oct. 29 at New Orleans, leaving the defense without the signal caller the past three games. ”I thought he looked good today,” Coach John Fox said. ”Anytime you have a starter out it can be problematic. But the rest of the players have to carry the load. It would be good to potentially have him back this week.” … Fox said the Bears’ decision to waive WR Tre McBride on Tuesday was about ”churning the roster.” He would not say if McBride was involved in a heated argument in the hallway on Monday that reporters overheard. … The Bears are bringing back LB Lamar Houston, claiming him off waivers from the Houston Texans. The 30-year-old Houston appeared in five games for the Texans. He played for Chicago from 2014-16 before being released on Sept. 6. — 1) The Miami Dolphins pulled off one of the best plays in the history of the NFL in their win against the New England Patriots. The “Miami Miracle” win was Miami’s fifth in their last six tries against New England at home, and it moved them to 7-6 on the season. It also kept their playoff hopes alive as they only trail the 7-6 Baltimore Ravens for the 6th seed. If you haven’t watched the play yet, here you go... I’ve heard of letting the moment breathe Tom Waddle Color Rush Jersey , but the Patriots’ radio announcers were flabbergasted. The best part about the Tecmo version is Rob Gronkowski at the end. 2) When it comes to fantastic plays, no player has opened more eyes this season than the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes. His latest was a no-look pass in their win against the Baltimore Ravens. In case you were wondering, Mahomes did play a little basketball back in the day. Also, in case you were wondering, this wasn’t the first time he pulled off the no-look pass in a game. 3) The Indianapolis Colts snapped the Houston Texans’ nine game win streak with a 24 - 21 win behind Andrew Luck’s 399 yards passing. The Colts were the butt of a lot of jokes this offseason and earlier this year, but head coach Frank Reich has that team playing good football right now. Next year they are set to have a boat load of cap space and I’d expect them to go all in to bolster the talent around Luck. 4) The New Orleans Saints survived a first half scare in Tampa Bay and rallied from a 14-3 deficit to win 28-14. The best part of the game was this play by the Saints Mark Ingram. 5) Way back on Thursday night, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry went off for 238yards rushing and 4 TDs. He either gave Fantasy Football teams a heck of a boost, or caused owners to pull out their hair seeing that production from their bench. He wasn’t even on a roster in one of my leagues. 6) Another monster performance was turned in by 49ers tight end George Kittle, who I think may be the best TE in the game today. After posting 7 catches for 210 yards and a TD, his season totals are up to 69 receptions for 1 Sam Acho Jersey ,103 yards and 4 TDs. Keep in mind that Kittle was drafted because of his excellent blocking skills and you can see why I have him up there with the best at his position. 7) Jon Gruden’s decisions to part ways with Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper have helped the Bears and Cowboys to the 3rd and 4th seeds in the NFC playoff race. Any chance he gets some coach of the year votes?8) The Green Bay Packers played with a renewed energy after they fired head coach Mike McCarthy, and they beat the Atlanta Falcons 34 to 20. At 5-7-1 they’re still hanging on to a slight postseason hope, but with trips to Chicago, then the Jets, before hosting the Lions week 17, they’ll likely need to win out plus get some help. The 6th seed in the NFC is currently held by a 6-6-1 team, and with two 6-7 teams in the 7th and 8th seed, the Packers (currently the 9th seed) even at 7-8-1 could still get in. That would likely set up a 6th seed (G.B.) vs. 3rd seed (Chi) match up in round one. The ESPN Playoff Machine is a fun little time waster if you want to play around with scenarios. 9) The Minnesota Vikings fired offensive coordinator John DeFilippo following their horrible offensive showing last night against the Seattle Seahawks. DeFilippo, if you remember, was the favorite by a lot of analysts and Bears’ fans https://www.thebearsfanshop.com/Devin-Hester-Jersey , to take over after John Fox was fired in Chicago.Things change quickly in the NFL, but I have a feeling he’ll get a job before the year is over. 9a) Speaking of the Vikings game, this Tweet is getting a lot of traction. 10) From Club Dub, to the hype videos, to the behind the scene clips, to awesome stuff like the following Tweet, the Chicago Bears social media and video team has been absolutely killing it this year.
