TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports that the two sides are still at an impasse as they try to come to terms on a new contract prior to Wednesdays NHL trade deadline. Dreger reports that it sounds like Phillips would prefer a two-year extension while the club would prefer just a one-year deal. He is currently in the final year of a three-year, $9.25 million contract and is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
